Creative Design Students Compete In ECSB Contest

Creative Design Students Compete In ECSB Contest

The students in the Creative Design class recently competed in a Promotional Campaign contest for a Financial Activities Placemat sponsored by East Cambridge Savings Bank. The contest guidelines included layout, design, and copywriting for a double-sided financial activities placemat for children 5-12 years old, which features interactive games for young customers on the go and incorporates messages to teach youth how to be better savers. Children will receive the placemat and dry-erase makers at the banking centers and community events. The goal of the placemat is to be both fun and informational, as students designed games and concepts that focused on children learning how to save money while also highlighting the "iSave" account. The judging was based on originality and adherence to contest guidelines for each of the financial activities placemats. The winning students' work will be used for future events presented by East Cambridge Savings Bank.
