Live Work and Contests
RSTA’s Creative Design program offers Live Work & Contests to all students within the program. This includes, Introduction to Design, Creative Design 1, as well as Honors Level, Creative Design 2, and Creative Design 3.
In the Creative Design program students develop and refine their skills through “Live Work” projects and contests. Students learn to create visual messages and design while gaining valuable and marketable skills while designing for “live work” clients. During these “live” work assignments, students further explore all aspects of design, exploring new problem-solving techniques while developing visual concepts including layout, composition, design, illustration, and computer graphics, as well as digital photography and vinyl graphics. These advanced “Live Work” projects expose students to a comprehensive approach to problem solving and layout, imagery production, and final execution of a printed designed piece.
