Cambridge Food + Nutrition Logo Contest
Students in the Creative Design class recently competed in the Cambridge Food + Nutrition Logo contest sponsored by Cambridge Food + Nutrition Services Department spearheaded by Mellissa Honeywood and Anthony Grein. The logo contest guidelines included a professional but school appropriate logo geared towards a target audience of the Cambridge Community, students, families, and professional affiliates. The logo has the potential to be used in each of the Cambridge Public Schools for the following applications: business cards, banners, letterhead, website, and t-shirts. The judging was based on originality and adherence to contest guidelines which included designing a simple logo that is both fresh and stylish. Cambridge Food & Nutrition Services has won “Best School Food” in the country for the past two years according to Niche.com. The department has made progressive changes over the past 5 years to offer healthy and delicious food reflective of the many cultures of Cambridge. There are over 65 employees working at 13 different sites throughout the district to serve the students breakfast and lunch each day.
The logo contest winners are:

Jahad Aubourg, Senior, Second Place ($50 cash prize awarded)
