CAMBRIDGEQUITY Logo Design Contest

Students in the Creative Design class recently competed in the CAMBRIDGEQUITY Logo Live Work design competition sponsored by the Khari Milner, Co-Director Cambridge Agenda for Children. The logo design contest guidelines required the logo designs to look professional, simple, clean, bold, energetic but not too cluttered and gives the feeling of balance, inspiration, connection. The logo should embody the building or symbolism of equity perhaps most visibly represented by a bridge or bridges. The vision statement of the Building Equity Bridges project is dedicated to authentically engaging those affected by entrenched systems of oppression such as racism, to build collective understanding of the lived experiences of our young people, families, and staff, and develop recommendations towards removing barriers to college and career success. The target audience is Cambridge residences but especially young people.

The winning logo has the potential to appear on all marketing materials social media, outreach materials. Logo will be reproduced in various sizes for the website, letterhead, brochure, social media, create t-shirts or sweatshirts and other swag. The judging was based on originality and adherence to live work contest guidelines.
