Creative Design Students Win 2020 Scholastic Art Awards
There was an enormous volume of work to be judged in our region. The judges base their decisions on the three criteria:
- Originality
- Technical Skill
- Personal Voice or Vision
This year six Creative Design students won nine Scholastic Art Awards. Junior, Greggy Bazile, earned four awards. He received three Silver Keys for his Street Mural, Building Equity Bridges Mural, and Kendall Square Mural. Greggy also received a Honorable Mention award for DIYDS Annual Film Festival Poster. Senior, Nickholas Flores, earned Silver Key for his Black & White Advertisement. Senior, Emily Ng earned an Honorable Mention for her Falcon Fixers logo. Junior, Priya Landrigan earned Honorable Mention for her Safe School Poster. Sophomore, Aliya Alnehmi earned Honorable Mention for her Islamophobia Anti-Discrimination Poster. Sophomore, Nicole Sabatino earned Honorable Mention for her 3 Series: Binder, Sketchbook and Drawer Label.
