The students in the Creative Design class recently competed in a CRLS
Anti-Smoking Poster contest for the CRLS Chapter of the 84 Movement
group led by Greta Hardina, CRLS Family Liaison. The contest guidelines
included layout, design, and copywriting for anti-smoking public service
announcements geared toward high school students. The goal of these
posters is to reduce the influence of Big Tobacco at CRLS and to educate
Cambridge youth about the dangers of smoking and OTP's (other tobacco
products). The judging was based on originality and adherence to contest
guidelines for each of the poster. The winning students' work will be
printed and displayed around the high school as well as Youth Centers
and Health Clinics in Cambridge.
