The Hometown Video Festival, sponsored by the national Alliance for Community Media, has announced its 2025 winners and the Cambridge Educational Access TV (Media Arts Studio) has received the Overall Excellence Award in Educational Access Programming!

The Overall Excellence award recognizes public, educational and governmental (PEG) cable access stations for the high quality of their operational activities and programming efforts.

CETV provides media art education programs at CPS and oversees two educational access cable channels. CEATV works in close partnership with the RSTA Media Technology program. Both programs are housed in the Media Arts Studio, a 5,500 square foot fully equipped state-of-the-art digital production facility that has won three architectural awards.

Congratulations to the entirety of the CEATV staff who continue to provide quality programming for our educational channels while cultivating a safe, welcoming, and creative learning environment to develop student-produced media.

Matthew Landry, Media Arts Manager, will attend the award ceremony this June in Boston to accept the award.
