Among the unique aspects of the RSTA curriculum are the ways in
which students and teachers serve members of our community while
teaching and learning at the same time. Each RSTA program has a
community service component.
For example our carpentry students build products such as cabinets, storage facilities and playground equipment for use in Cambridge schools.
Our Information Technology students help install networks and our automotive students offer repair services.
The Culinary Arts program operates a modest take-out restaurant called the "Falcon's Nest" and also provides some catering services.
The Visual Communications programs (Creative Design, Visual Communications / Production) create and print all sorts of material for community customers.
If you are interested in learning more about the community learning
service component, please get in touch with one of our teachers in the
fall.
