Out-of-District CTE Programs

Overview
Massachusetts permits all high school students to apply to enroll in a state-approved CTE program outside their district, if the program is not offered by their own district, at no cost to the student. This is known as the non-resident tuition program for Chapter 74 programs.

CPS students seeking admission to a specific program not offered by RSTA at CRLS must:

Special requirements for 9th graders: Because RSTA offers a ninth grader exploratory program, ninth grade students may only apply for non-resident admission for the purposes of exploring “aviation maintenance technology, or specialized agriculture and natural resources programs” not available in the CPS.
