RSTA Automotive Receives NATEF Accreditation
Posted on 03/25/2015
autoI am pleased to inform you that the RSTA Automotive Technology program was recently granted full accreditation (to April 2020) by NATEF, the national standard for automobile technicians. The Automotive Tech instructors -- in particular Roy Doucette -- gathered and compiled volumes of materials that had been required by the NATEF on-site inspection team, which visited RSTA in early March.

I want also to mention that Sid Cox and Beltron Olton, two men from the Cambridge Public Works Department and Adrian Bozova from Cambridge Honda who serve on our Automotive Technology Program Advisory Committee were very helpful in the process of preparing the application and in meeting with the onsite team from NATEF.

Credit is due to the Automotive team of Steve Rivera, Roy Doucette, and Rob Cooper not only for their continued good work as teachers and technicians, but also for their dedication to maintaining their high standards in an ever-changing industry. Keeping our accreditation is critical to giving our Automotive students positive advantages in post secondary educational and employment opportunities.
